YES!!! Rest for me! ^^ lol. Prior to my break, I had two major presentations due: one was a group presentation for my psyc. class and the other was an individual presentation for my curriculum and instruction class. My presentations were worth a lot of marks, I think I did okay? Well, whatever, at least I did them. Man was I exhausted preparing for them! One was on tuesday, the other was just yesterday! And today I did nothing but veg out! lol. Being in this faculty is more than I ask for!

Even though I am on my break... I still have an assignment due this friday at midnight! As well as other hw that is left! X_x So hw mode here I come... that is starting tomorrow cause I am a procrastinator!

Since I am feeling a heck lot better than I did on wednesday I will update my lj.
P.S. Wisdoms out = no good food to eat! Oh well.

Day 5 - Batteries died

On the fifth day of my trip me and my family went to the city park! It was really nice! It wasn't too hot or cold! There was a nice breeze. So many people swimming, boating and relaxing! It was so unreal to me! My camera batteries died *coughs* cause I forgot to charge it *coughs* so I didn't take a lot of pics of this day. Man it was nice. My family wanted to go on a boat but there was a thunderstorm warning so we didn't, me and mom in particular. I know, I am a chicken! lol.
 

Day 6 - Going Home/ Le Fin

After many relaxing days we had to leave. :( The day we left was a rainy day, so I got to see some interesting scenery! And once again my butt was thoroughly numb! But in the end I thoroughly enjoyed my vacay and am really glad I went! :)

Yet again, its been a while since I've updated! Well the reason behind this is because I finally went on my family vacay: a trip to see our uncle in Kelowna. We just got back this friday (August 14). So for the next little while I will be posting about my six days there, cause I am sure I will not be doing anything too exciting for a while. :)

Day 1 - Getting There
August 09, 2009
Family left house at 9:00a.m. to go to Calgary (a two hour drive) to buy stuff for my uncle. I know getting up at nine isn't super early, but if you were my bro and me you would think it is. We got off work, the previous day before our trip, at 2:00a.m.! But we had to drive home, shower, and pack some more stuff making both of us go to bed at 4:00a.m. And resulting in 5 hours of sleep! It would be okay if we were left to sleep the whole trip to Kelowna but me and my bro had to stay up and navigate my parents! lol. I read the road maps and my bro helped them with the GPS. My parents aren't really good with technology and their eyes are bad for reading tiny print of maps, so me and my bro had to stay up for the whole trip, the whole 11 hours of driving. I kinda fell asleep for two 10 minute intervals. Man it was hard to stay up! We passed many, many nice mountain, lake and river sceneries. Now I shall leave some pics of the long drive to get to Kelowna, which was a whole another province away from my own! In the end staying up had its awards: the lovely times and moments the scenery has created for my memories.

Yesterday was my little sis's 15th birthday! ^-^ So I think I've recovered most of my energy from that busy day now! lol. I had five hours of sleep before starting the preparations for it! The explanation for this was cause I worked till 1 in the morning (on last saturday) then I went home and finished my little sis's pinata five in the morning. I woke up at 10 (on last sunday, yesterday) and then me and my bro spent a good two hours filling up 150+ water balloons. O_o After that we had a quick lunch and finished the other preparations like the scoreboard (board where we would keep the points the kids earned to see who would win the grand prize: something from me 40 bucks and under), help mom and dad with the food and etc. Then all the kid cousins came over around 2:30ish. We first did the indoor events: paper t-shirt folding and unwrapping a present we selected to give them carefully without breaking the wrapping paper. And the winner of the unwrapping event gets to buy anything $20 and under at chapters from me! Afterward we went outside for the water events. We had lots of mini games with the water balloons and water guns. One mini game was especially memorable cause we all went against my little bro who had to dodge all of our water balloons and skirt guns. He's a pretty good sport! XD Break time followed, and the kids had my famous rainbow jello (cause I am the only one who takes time to make it ever) and chips. Following was a chill out/ do what ever you want time. Dinner then followed and we had lots of random stuff. After dinner all the kids watched Castle in the Sky, and man were they glued to it! lol. I interrupted them to go hit the pinata and they were all like awe! Then after the hitting of the pinata, we watched some more of the movie till cake time. It was after cake time that we finally finish the movie and by then it was 11 a clock at night so they all went home. Me and my family had to clean up after they went home! lol. So yeah that sums up yesterday! And today I just vacuumed the house cause of the food crumbs and such. I also went to a heritage festival that was held by the community during lunch to try different kinds of food!

Spent most of this week preparing my little sis's bday. Making rainbow jello, getting the mini games ready and party supplies. I think this year will be the last year for these kiddy parties I throw for her: just cause we have so many little cousins, but there getting older too plus I am getting old as well, lol. She's gonna be 15! I am glad that she appreciates them but there comes a time when you just gotta let go! Maybe next year we will do normal teenage bday party. How boring and uncreative... oh well!

Also hung out with some friends yesterday. We went for a walk and then had ice cream at DQ! Speaking on socializing, I think I will go for a gallery visit with two friends next week. I think it shall be interesting!

This week I am having a hang out with friends you haven't seen in a long time week! :) I hung out with a friend today, and will hang out with one tomorrow and another one on thursday maybe.

Haven't done anything productive in terms of cleaning my house or anything, but I have been able to do stuff I enjoy! :) 

Sleeping in has been amazing! Now time to get me into exercising mode... lol.

Finally finished my family pictures sorting and saving last week, but now onto the family dvds. :\ And that is gonna take a while. That reminds me, I should probably sort my friend pictures and save them on cds as well.

I started reading sense and sensibility yesterday. So far its okay, wonder when it will get to the juicy parts.

My mom has been coaching me in driving, I really wonder when I'll ever get my license.

It is gonna be Canada day soon! Yay! I will take/ record the fireworks perhaps? 

Lastly, I started this little goal a month or two ago and that is folding another set of 1000 paper cranes. Last time I did that it really brought about a miracle, I hope that it will do the same thing this time. What my wish is a secret! :) 

Spent some time this afternoon sorting and resizing pics for my journal, graphic works, and family & friend photos! :)
